Kerala STEDS

Kerala State Technical Education Development Society was founded on 28th June 2000 at Neendoor, a village 12 km away from Kottayam. In the last quarter of the year 2000 the Kerala State Technical Education Development Society formed an educational board and started a computer institution in Neendoor with the name KERALA STEDS. An year later it was renovated to the best quality with fully equipped facility of over 15 computers to be the one of the best computer lab facility available at that time. The society took many initiatives to conduct seminars and workshops to educate the students with the importance of computer knowledge and computer education in the near future.

In the year 2002 the number of computer institution were increasing and the quality of the computer education was compromised. Kerala STEDS stick to discipline of giving quality education and tried for the affiliation from NIOS ( National Institute Of Open Schooling under Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt of INDIA) , And in the third quarter of 2002 Kerala State Technical Education Development Society was accredited by NIOS. study center code :590048

In the same year the Kerala STEDS started a branch in Kottayam town on June 1 2002. The new Kerala STEDS offered new courses in various concepts like computer application, computer desktop publishing, graphic designing, and also in other major fields like professional accounting and fashion designing. It was an era; the society supported the students
